Livin' it up in l'Acadie!

We made it to Moncton on Friday without event and with our baggage after touching down in Toronto and Montreal. We met two great friends at the airport, Don & Shawn, (two of the groomsmen) and drove to Sackville where Sharon's parents and Gerry's mom were hosting the rehearsal party and night-before celebrations.

We spent the night in our lovely room at the Memramcook Resort where the funeral for the former Governor general Romeo Leblanc who was from Memramcook,had just been held. There were Radio Canada trucks still on site and loads of RCMP cars. Apparantly the current governor general, Micheal Jean, stayed in the room Gerry (the groom) stayed in the night before the wedding.

The wedding and bride were beautiful! Bruce and I were MC's for the reception and the play list was amazing for the dance so we had a great time.

Now we're off to the PEI shore with Gerry & Sharon to relax for a day or two - see you soon!
